|ME STANDING IN FRONT OF THE SECRET KEEPER'S STREET IN HEBER, ARIZONA|
Why do secrets captivate us? Our friend’s secrets, our secrets, horrible secrets we learn from watching the news. We all have them. I still guard a secret told to me in the seventh grade by a boy I haven’t seen since that same year. Some of us do unthinkable things to keep secrets from ever being told.
In my latest book The Secret Keeper (due out next month) my main character, Winter, in a prolific moment of realization says, “That’s the thing about secrets, they’re hidden for a reason.” This of course, is after she has done something she considers so horrific that she must hide it at all costs. She literally thinks to herself with extreme teenage exaggeration, I would do anything to take back….. and no I’m not going to tell you her secret. You have to read the book or harass someone who has to find outJ
That is where the Secret Keeper comes in. She can do what no other creature on the earth can. She can erase a secret, take it on herself absorbing it’s toxicity and making the consequences disappear…but not without strings attached. In the next month, I’ll be sharing lots about The Secret Keeper. Check in often. The cover reveal is May 1st and then in the following weeks you can win your copy of the Secret Keeper and find out why some secrets are better left unspokenThanks for stopping by!
